7.  How to pre-register and pay for new residents. 

The steps to follow to carry out the reservation process for the double/single rooms of the residence are indicated:

Step 2:

Access the BOOK NOW section, fill in all the details of the reservation request.

To proceed with the reservation of double or single rooms, the user must fill in the reservation request form as a first step.

The Pere Claret University Residence will request personal data 

Step 3:

The Pere Claret University Residence may contact the user.

Once the Pere Claret University Residence has received the reservation request.  Contact is made by email or by calling the user's telephone number, to provide the data and the necessary documentation that must be arrange to make the bank transfer.

The user must pay the amount of 358 euros for pre-registration and registration.

Step 4:

Registration formalization.

To formalize the registration, the user must transfer the amounts for:

  • As a deposit €800 

  • The price of €590 for the single room.

  • The price of €375 for the double room (1st installment of the month).

The PARE CLARET UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE grants 2 weeks (15 days) of margin to make the payment after having obtained a place at the university.

Step 5:

Provide the requested documentation.

 When the user has formalized the payment of the amounts. You must attach a series of documentation requested by the Residence.

Protection of requested data: 

The data that we request is adequate, pertinent and strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is collected, and in no case are you obliged to provide it to us. Likewise, you certify that all the information you provide us is true, truthful and relevant for the purpose for which we request it.
The Residence informs you that your data is treated confidentially and is used exclusively internally and for the purposes indicated.

As an interested party you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, limitation, portability, information, deletion, cancellation and not be subject to automated individual decisions. You must send us a letter to the Residence Address indicating the exercise of the right by sending an email to info@residenciapareclaret.com

If within a period of one month we have not resolved the exercise of your right, you may file the relevant complaint or complaint with the competent control authority or the matter.

8. Prices of single and double rooms and their services.

The prices of our single and double rooms and the type of board are indicated on our website, in the prices and services sections. 

Before proceeding with the pre-registration, the user will be able to know the prices of our single and double rooms.

 

General conditions:

  • The stipulated price is per person.

  • Electricity, gas and water cats are included in the pension, whether full, half, with breakfast or only accommodation.

  • 10% VAT is included in the price of the pension.

  • Both in the single and double rooms you can choose between full board, accommodation, half board and accommodation with breakfast. It will be valid from September to June, following the school/university schedule.

 

The resident will have the following services in our facilities:

  • Personalized attention and 24 hours.

  • Full board that includes: breakfast, lunch, dinner from Monday to Friday on weekdays. On weekends and holidays there is no service. 

  • Half board: That includes breakfast and lunch or dinner from Monday to Friday on weekdays. On weekends and holidays there is no service. 

  • Kitchen service: it is a basic service, that our student can use the community kitchen of the residence completely free of charge.

  • Room cleaning: the Residence has a cleaning service to keep the common areas in perfect condition, but at the same time we offer a room cleaning service for those who expressly require it. Said communication must be made by email to the following email info@residenciapareclaret.com

  • Self-service laundry: we have implemented a laundry service to facilitate the stay of students.

  • WIFI and cable: the student will be able to make internet connections from anywhere in our residence and in their room, they will also have cable.

  • Printer and photocopiers 24 hours.

  • Study rooms: the student will have 3 rooms, an auditorium with a projector.

  • Gym: residents have a gym with different types of machines (treadmill, bicycle, elliptical, etc.).

  • Recreation areas: residents have at their disposal 2 recreation rooms with television, 1 room with board games, ping pong in the courtyard.

  • 400m2 outdoor patio and 60m2 terrace in the attic of the building where the resident can enjoy the views of the city of Girona. 

  • We have bicycle parking.

 

The Residence also offers as complementary services:

  • Weekly room cleaning services.

  • Weekly sheet change service.

  • Lunch or dinner (daily price menu).

  • Breakfast.

9. Shelter Service.

Regarding our services such as Hostel, they are available during the months of July and August, to make the reservation of your room you must call the telephone number +34 687 248 217.

The reservation of rooms can be made up to a maximum group of 80 people, it must always be communicated in advance.

 

 

 

 

10. Payment for our services.

RESIDÈNCIA UNIVERSITÀRIA PARE CLARET has the following means of payment for the new resident, being:

· Payment by bank transfers: for the pre-registration for the residence, and the monthly payment of the rooms, whether individual or shared, together with all their expenses.

From the Administration of the Residence, they will contact the new resident, to provide him with the account number to make the bank deposit.

The room will not be reserved if the pre-registration payment has not been made previously.

 

 

11. Rules of coexistence.

The resident students must behave, at all times, in accordance with the rules of good coexistence, education, respect and courtesy with respect to the rest of the residents and staff of the Residence.

The resident residing in the facilities of the PARE CLARET UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE must follow the rules of coexistence established therein.

The entrances and exits of the residence, as well as the stay in its common areas, will be carried out with the greatest possible silence to respect the concentration for study and rest of the rest of the residents.
The resident is obliged to comply without restriction with the rules of coexistence of the Residence, the proper use of common spaces, utensils made available to the resident, both in the contracted accommodation, as well as in the common areas, as well as all and each of the modifications of the same that are approved in the future. Within the compliance with the rules, the prohibition of hazing is included.

Any uncivil conduct, contrary to the norm, that causes material damage to the facilities, causes fire, flood, the commission of any act of vandalism or a crime, supposes the expulsion of the facilities and the termination of the service.

 

 

12.  The duration of the contract regarding the reservation of single and double rooms and the type of pensions.

The duration of the contract must be at least 10 months, between the periods of September of one year to June of the following year.

The stays may only be extended by express agreement between the parties (student-residence). The resident who is interested in staying in our facilities during the months of July and August must notify the Residence Management within two months in advance by sending an email to info@residenciapareclaret.com ._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The Residence will remain closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays, and on the specified dates according to the academic calendar.

 

13.  Lost and stolen. 

The Management of the Pare Claret University Residence is not responsible for the theft of residents' personal belongings, money, etc., that occur inside the rooms or in any other common area of the residence. In this regard, residents are advised not to leave belongings abandoned in common spaces.

 

 

14.  Cancellation Policy. 

Under the provisions of arts. 93 and 103 of Law 3/2014, of March 27, which modifies the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, the User who has contracted the reservation of accommodation for full-course stays-long stays/intermediate stays of our residence through the use of our website is informed, that the conditions of return and non-refund of the Payment of the reservation regulated in the Reservation Conditions. At the time of carrying out the electronic acceptance of the General Clauses of the Accommodation Contract, the User must read in advance the conditions of return and non-return of the guarantee deposit regulated in this section, and from their acceptance, they will apply. the aforementioned Clauses.

The user may cancel their reservation within a maximum period of 7 calendar days. Said cancellation must be communicated by email info@residenciapareclaret.com

If the user has made the registration payment, which amounts to 358 euros, it will only be returned when the student has not passed the Baccalaureate, the selectivity test or has not obtained a place in the faculties. from the town of Girona. These circumstances must be accredited by means of an official document that accredits it, in order to receive the refund of the pre-registration payment.

The money will be returned by bank transfer, in the account number designated by the resident.

In the event that the resident has made the pre-registration payment, if the resident obtains a place at the University of Girona, they will have a period of 2 weeks, that is, 15 days, to make the registration payment. If said period of 15 days elapses, the resident who has made the pre-registration and paid the 358 euros will lose their reservation, the right to a refund of pre-registration and registration.

In the event that the resident abandons or cancels his/her place in the Pare Claret University Residence in advance, not complying with the duration of the contract or one or more monthly installments are unpaid, the deposit will not be returned._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The deposit will be returned, provided that there is just cause, such as serious, unforeseeable personal causes beyond the control of the resident, the deposit will be returned, as long as it is amply accredited in writing before the Management, the cause of termination of the contract with the corresponding justification. 

If the cause is not justified, the abandonment of the place of residence will be considered voluntary, therefore, the resident will not have the right to a refund of the money.

15. Notifications.

All notifications, requirements, petitions and other communications that must be made by the parties in relation to these General Conditions, must be made in writing and it will be understood that they have been duly made when they have been delivered by hand or sent by ordinary mail to the address of the other party or to the latter's email, or to any other address or email that each party may indicate to the other for these purposes.

 

16. Nullity and inefficiency of the clauses.

If any clause included in these General Conditions is declared, totally or partially, null or ineffective, such nullity or ineffectiveness will affect only said provision or the part of it that is null or ineffective, subsisting the General Conditions in everything else, having such disposition, or the part of it that was affected, as not placed.

 

17. Conflict resolution extracontractually. 

Following the guidelines set by Law 7/2017, of November 2, which incorporates into the Spanish legal system Directive 2013/11/EU, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 21, 2013, regarding Alternative resolution of consumer disputes.

 

The new regulations require that in the event of a conflict between the consumer and empRESIDÈNCIA UNIVERSITÀRIA PARE CLARET rios (article 3 of the aforementioned Law), it can be resolved through an out-of-court procedure before the competent autonomous body (article 26 of the aforementioned Law). The purpose of this law is to guarantee that consumers residing in the European Union have access to mechanisms for resolving consumer disputes.

18. Applicable Law. Submission to jurisdictions.

Purchases made at RESIDÈNCIA UNIVERSITÀRIA PARE CLARET   are subject to the provisions of Spanish law.

These General Contract Conditions are subject, among others, to the following Regulations:

  • Law 7/1996, of January 15, on the Regulation of Retail Trade (“LOCM”).

  • Law 7/1998 , of April 13, on General Conditions of Contract ("LCGC").

  • Law 3/2014, of March 27, which modifies the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16 ( “TRLGDCU”).

  • Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce ("LSSICE").

  • Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights. (“LOPDGDD”).

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data and which repeals the Directive 95/46/CE.

  • Law 7/2017, of November 2, which incorporates Directive 2013/11/EU, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 21, 2013, on alternative dispute resolution into the Spanish legal system in terms of consumption.

In the event that any conflict or discrepancy arises in the interpretation or application of these contractual conditions, the Courts and Tribunals that, where appropriate, will hear the matter, will be those provided by the applicable legal regulations in matters of competent jurisdiction, in which is attended, in the case of final consumers, to the place of fulfillment of the obligation or to the domicile of the purchasing party.

The parties submit, for the resolution of conflicts and waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals of the town of Girona.
